Eat Less and Gain More Weight - Why Your Diet Plan is Never Going to Work
Are you so desperate to lose weight that you are eating less and less every day, getting some exercise and yet seeing no results or worse, an increase in your weight?
You are probably pretty confused because you are putting a lot of thought and effort into getting rid of your stubborn fat deposits and every day is a struggle to stick to your plan.
No matter what you do, nothing works. It's soul destroying. But on the bright side, it can also be character building.
Think about it. You want to lose weight. You have put in some very hard yards. But it is just not working. This does not mean that you cannot learn how to lose weight.
It simply means that what you have been doing is wrong. Wrong. Bitter tasting word, but you have to swallow it to make yourself a slimmer and fitter person who knows exactly how to lose weight healthily.
Once you can admit that what you have been doing is wrong, then you will be ready to go for what is right. Opening your eyes and mind to what does and does not work is the simple key to how to lose weight.
It is wrong to starve yourself every morning. It is wrong to attempt to deny yourself snacks, lunch and a weekly cheat meal. It is wrong to punish your mind and body into submission by pushing food further and further away from yourself.
Believe me and believe the mirror and your bathroom scales. If your diet plan is simply to eat less, you are going to gain more weight. This is not how to lose weight fast. You must not be desperate to lose weight because desperation will cause you to panic and make wrong choices.
If you want to know how to lose weight healthily and incidentally how to lose weight fast, just do this.
Eat breakfast every day. Have breakfast first thing in the morning when your body needs the fuel to function effectively. There are no logical arguments if you want to lose weight healthily. Just eat breakfast. You will get used to it and feel the positive effects within days.
A good breakfast will get you through to a healthy mid morning snack. You will be alert all morning. You will be able to focus on life at hand rather than the pitiful moaning of your neglected stomach.
Lunch must happen. It is a sit down meal every day. No distractions. Look at your food, eat it slowly and thoughtfully and enjoy the food you are nourishing your grateful body with.
It really only takes 10 minutes. Don't try to tell yourself that you don't have 10 minutes at lunchtime to care for your precious body.
The afternoon is going to be a weary and dispirited time for you if you do not refuel yourself once more. Feeling tired, unfocused, dispirited or moody in the afternoon are all clear signs of your body pleading "Somebody help me, I'm starving here!"
You cannot expect to exercise effectively 5 to 6 times a week for 45 minutes to an hour at a time with a body that is not being fed properly. And this is the amount of exercise you need to commit to if you are going to lose fat and get fit for life.
Now, if you were on your "eat less, gain more sure to fail diet plan" by around 5pm, you would be tempted to cave in to a fatty, salty and/or sugary treat. Maybe you would have a sugar laden drink or two with that.
But this will no longer happen to you, because you are no longer desperate to lose weight. Because you have been eating well all day, this craving habit will fade and vanish over a period of a few short weeks or even days.
Eat a high protein low carb dinner and a healthy high protein low carb snack about an hour before bedtime.
Don't let your weight loss dreams turn into a weight gain nightmare. Eat more (of the right stuff) to lose weight, not the other way around.
